Fold a résumé, check it, sign a letter, launch a portfolio.
Conxfolio is four free tools for one job search. Each tool works on its own, and each one can read the work you did in the others.
Start where you are. Bring a résumé you already have and the builder reads it into fields you can correct, or write one from scratch in any of 37 layouts. The ATS check reads the same résumé and shows the arithmetic behind every point it takes off. The cover letter is written from lines it can point back to. The portfolio turns the same material into a page in one of 20 authored designs.
Nothing is held back for a paid plan, and there is no account to create. Your work stays in this browser, so you can close the tab and come back to it. An email address is asked for once: when you claim the address of a portfolio you want to publish.
The optional workspace holds the four tools around one application, so a letter can read the résumé you just fixed and a portfolio can read both. You never have to use it — every tool is complete on its own address.
The four tools
- Fold · Résumé builder — Import a PDF, DOCX or text résumé, correct every field, choose a layout and export PDF or DOCX. /resume-builder
- Check · ATS resume checker — A score with its arithmetic shown, fixes ordered by the points they cost, and no job description needed. /ats-resume-checker
- Sign · Cover letter builder — Design, details, your letter, check — each paragraph traced back to the evidence it came from. /cover-letter-builder
- Launch · Portfolio builder — Design, your details, check, publish — a portfolio page built from the work in your résumé. /portfolio-builder
What Conxfolio does not do: it does not predict whether you will be hired, it is not an employer's own applicant tracking system, and it does not write a claim your evidence cannot support.
Questions
- Is Conxfolio free?
- Yes. The résumé builder, the ATS check, the cover letter builder and the portfolio builder are free, including PDF and DOCX export.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Every tool works without signing in, and your work is kept in this browser. An email address is needed only when you claim an address for a published portfolio.
- Where is my data kept?
- Your work is kept in this browser. A file you import is read here first, and only the text it contains is sent to be sorted into fields — if this browser cannot read the file, the file itself is sent instead. The text of a résumé or a letter is sent to our server when you run the ATS check, ask for a draft, or export a PDF.
- Do I have to use all four tools?
- No. Each tool has its own address and works on its own. The workspace that connects them is optional.
- Can I bring a résumé I already have?
- Yes. Import a PDF, DOCX or text file. Everything read out of it is shown for review before it enters the editor, so a bad extraction is corrected rather than published.
- What does the ATS score mean?
- It measures the structure and the evidence we can read in your résumé text. It is not an employer's private system and it is not a prediction.
